Monicah Wokabi is a seasoned finance professional with over 10 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, and donor compliance. As the Finance Manager at Elimu Development Projects, she oversees the organization’s financial systems, ensures transparent reporting, strengthens compliance with accounting standards, and leads strategic financial planning to support impactful community programs.

Monicah brings extensive expertise in nonprofit finance and has played a key role in enhancing Elimu’s internal controls, improving grant accountability, and supporting the organization’s sustainable growth. She is passionate about financial stewardship and its role in driving social change and equity.

She holds a Degree in Finance from Mt. Kenya University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K). Monicah is also proficient in QuickBooks and SAGE accounting software. Outside of work, she enjoys mentoring young women and youth in business planning
