As the Communication Coordinator at Elimu Resource Centre (ERC), Sharon Kamau leads the Centre’s communication and visibility efforts, ensuring impactful storytelling and strategic engagement with partners, beneficiaries, and the wider community. She is passionate about leveraging communication as a tool for empowerment and social change, particularly in advancing education, digital literacy, and community development.

At ERC, Sharon develops and implements communication strategies that amplify the Centre’s programs — from promoting access to quality education and entrepreneurship training to supporting women and youth in acquiring essential life and digital skills. Her work focuses on capturing human interest stories, enhancing media presence, and strengthening ERC’s brand as a hub for learning, innovation, and empowerment in Kilifi County and beyond.

With a background in strategic communication and experience working with development organizations, Sharon combines creativity, purpose-driven messaging, and community-centered storytelling to drive ERC’s mission of transforming lives through education and skills development.
